I am a storyteller, communicator, visual designer, sculptor, videographer, and mother. I have worked alongside great minds at the NASA-Jet Propulsion Laboratory for the past decade, allowing me to showcase my skills within the science and technical community. I thrive on the challenge of creating clear and compelling messaging for complex technological developments that meet science objectives for future space missions.

Besides my work in space technology, I've had a passion for creating and telling visual stories. Crafting with my hands has been a vital part of my life. In 2022, I turned my passion into a business and founded Yara Sophia, named after my daughter. Ever since, I have showcased my work in Paris Fashion Week during F/W 2023 and was featured in Women's Wear Daily, Forbes, and Hollywood Reporter. I am deeply interested in the intersection of art and science and am grateful to earn a living working in both fields.

I have a Master's in Fine Art in Media Design and Communication from ArtCenter College of Design in Pasadena and a Bachelor's in Philosophy from the University of California, Los Angeles.

I live in Los Angeles and am a proud mother to a five-year-old and a one-year-old.
